Project Overview

PMI was tasked with manufacturing and installing a new primary and secondary rock crushing station with a conveyor system that would cross a county road and a river, in a floodway—an engineering challenge. The conveyor system, spanning a mile in length, required an 800-ton crane to be assembled on-site to lift and position the massive 260,000-pound conveyor piece. This project, completed during the 2008 Great Recession, was a critical success for PMI, displaying our ability to overcome economic challenges and deliver complex solutions.
