 Dust Suppression

Good Dust Control Means Good Process Control Means Higher Profitability

What does dust control have to do with production? Everything!

If materials aren't blowing around in the air or spilling out on the ground, they must be going across your scale. And that means higher production.

Anyone can dump enough water on your plant to control dust. But that means blinded screens and off-spec products. If you are saddled with a spray system that turns your plant into a wet mess, let us show you how a NESCO spray system can pay for itself in recovered production and reduced water costs.

Let's combine good engineering and operating practices with NESCO's high pressure spray systems technology to keep you profitable and in compliance with SubPart 000.

Increased Productivity -
Reduce dust and water consumption using high pressure mist. Put more tons into trucks and leave less stuck on screens.

Longer Lasting Machinery
-
Clean motors, idlers and bearing last longer and require less maintenance and repair.

Fewer Injuries --
Improved visibility makes the workplace safer. Ask your insurance company to revisit your premium after installing NESCO equipment.

Reduced Compliance Costs
--
Replace expensive dry collectors with affordable NESCO technology. Lower legal costs and permit fees. NESCO guarantees compliance with SubPart 000.

Better Profitability --

Some customers like their rock a little wetter, other don't. Use a NESCO system to tailor your product mix.

Improved Morale --
A healthier worker is a more productive worker.

Protection of our Environment --

Clean air means a stronger America.

Designed for Stationary or Portable Plants processing over 500 Tons per Hour.

Standard Features:

  • High Pressure 200 psi Pump
  • Flow Switch and Strainer
  • Pressure Gauge and Relief Valve
  • Remote Control Panel
  • Running Time Meter
  • All Brass Plumbing
  • Heavy Duty Construction
  • 10,20 or 40 gpm Pump Sizes

Options:

  • Air Purge for Cold Weather
  • Glycol Injection
  • Dual Basket Strainer

NESCO's Remote Control Panel lets your operator switch on spray nozzles when and where they are needed. Saves time and conserves water. Status lights verify that the pump is running and alert the operator if water is interrupted. Switches illuminate for night operation.

NESCO spray systems can be adapted to any stationary or portable plant. A centrally located pump module supplies spray nozzles. High-pressure hose connects spray bars to pump unit. Easy to operate and maintain, NESCO spray systems can eliminate visible dust using less than a gallon of water per ton.

Low Cost, Big Savings for Plants Handling less than 500 Tons per Hour.

Standard Features:

  • 200 psi, 10 or 20 Gpm Pump
  • TEFC Motor
  • Pressure Gauge
  • All Brass Plumbing
  • Water Filter

Other Products

NESCO's DirtSquirt Wheel Wash stops trucks from tracking mud onto public roads. The DirtSquirt includes a 160 gpm, high-pressure pump module, motion sensor, speed bump, and dual action spray bars. Fully automatic operation. No excavation required.
Designed for big dust control problems, the Enforcer is the ultimate in high pressure spray systems for dust control. Operating at 800 psi, the Enforcer produces a powerful atomized mist that suppresses dust at water consumption rates comparable to air-atomizing or foam systems.
NESCO Air Atomizing Spray Systems use water and compressed air to produce micron sized droplets that are able to suppress respirable dust without adding any detectable moisture to the process. Ideal for spray curtains to contain dust within hoppers.
Fog Systems use ultra-high pressure and fine nozzle orifices to produce 10 micron droplets that humidify the environment and suppress dust and diesel exhaust in a confined area.
Wetting Agents are chemicals that are added to water to improve the rate at which spray droplets wet dust particles. NESCO doesn't sell chemicals but DustPro and DustBoy spray systems can be modified to include a metering pump and in-line mixer to dispense a surfactant. Improves dust control on hard to wet materials like coal or petroleum coke.

NESCO can also build Foam Systems that use water, compressed air, and chemical agent to make a low-expansion foam that controls emissions from crushers and transfer points. Unlike chemical vendors that lock a customer into their chemical, NESCO equipment allows the customer to use less expensive generic chemicals.

Finally, NESCO sells all the Pumps, Parts, and Spray Nozzles to build spray systems from scratch. These are the same field-proven components we use to build our equipment. NESCO keeps a complete inventory of parts and is happy to provide technical assistance.
